Tallahatchie Flats - Greenwood, Mississippi

Tallahatchie Flats sits on the bank of the Tallahatchie river and is located 3 miles north of Greenwood, Mississippi. It's the perfect place to escape the hustle and flow of big city life, while receiving an authentic Mississippi Delta experience. (Please note the shacks are authentic and not reproductions.)

From Tunica, Mississippi to Greenwood, Mississippi

Driving from Tunica, Mississippi to Greenwood, Mississippi allowed us a great opportunity to experience the Mississippi Delta first hand. We stopped for refreshments along the way and met some wonderful people. It's true that Mississippians take great pride in being hospitable.
